Course structure

Three phases at IGP GAP year Program are structured in a way to offer the students exposure in diverse sectors, workings of the real world, in depth course modules, peer learning with a global community of students through collective and individual projects, and sector specific internships. All the 3 stages will be tied together through regular interaction with career experts and counsellors giving the students all the tools they need to choose what works for them. By the end of the 3 months students will be prepared for the future abreast in Indian way of thinking while being consciously aware of the real world issues.

EXPLORE (August)

A combination of 10 courses, hands-on workshops, and a focus on understanding self using tools such as regular yoga delivered online through innovative teaching methodologies. The program is aimed at building contemporary skill sets while making students aware of current realities and getting them ready to take on real life challenges.

ENGAGE (September)

Students will be undertaking projects with industry experts in diverse fields ranging from History to Robotics in order to gain real world experience and get a taste of work life in their chosen fields either online or near their home towns.

EXCEL (October)

This term aims at giving further training to the students to consolidate their learnings and takeaways along with detailed mentoring on how to pursue the careers of their choice. They will be engaged in extensive discussions while spending a great deal of time reflecting and synthesising. This term also offers a buffet of 10 contemporary courses coupled with workshops.

WORKSHOPS

Hands on workshops delivered alongside core courses to ensure a balance of theory with practical. The workshops will be based on topics different from the courses focused on making the curriculum more engaging, practical, and fun.
